Story

In 1989, Jim Jackson and his wife, Jill Hill founded Aspects Beauty Company and worked tirelessly to create the successful business we see today. Since Jim’s death in 2021, each employee has been given a day in September (Jim’s birthday month) to make a difference – the idea is to use this day to fundraise or volunteer where possible, giving their time in honour of a special cause, The Jim Jackson Foundation. The charity was set up in Jim’s name to help young people get a step up into the world of business and this year the Aspects Beauty team will be coming together for a collective fundraising activity.

Each year, Jim, Jill and their beloved dogs would drive from their home in Sussex to their second home in the Dordogne, France. With this memory in mind, the Aspects Beauty team will be taking on a pilgrimage of their own around Chailey, collectively walking the distance of 781km (Sussex to Dordogne), working out at approximately 13km per person.

Jim’s desire to level the playing field in life and improve the chances of those who may have been disadvantaged in some way, forms the inspiration for the establishment of a charity launched in his name, The Jim Jackson Foundation.
