Alhamdulillah, Forest Gate Masjid established  in 1992; has been serving the local ummah with great eagerness and sincerity. Our elders Khan Saab (rah), Salik Chowdhury (rah), Giash Uddin (rah), Muklisur Rahman (rah) and Abdur Rokib with other committee members started what is known today as Forest Gate Masjid and Imam ZakariyaAcademy. The masjid has been serving the local ummah with 5times daily Salaah, Eid Salaah, Jumuah, Taraweeh and Maktab.

Current activities we are running at the masjid are:

Darul Uloom, Primary School, Maktab, Adult short courses, hifz class for brother, sisters Alimmiyah course and Sanatain short course, with the addition of a brand new nursery to help develop our muslim children from an early onset the Islamic way of life i’A. 

However we desperately need your help and support to build this new purpose built masjid and space has become very very limited. Please donate any amount; even as little as possible to help Forest Gate Masjid and Imam Zakariya Academy to continue to serve the local ummah.
