Fundraising for Voluntary Service Overseas

My name is Asma Elbadawi, I am a Visual Artist, Poet and basketball player who is extremely passionate about international development through the Arts and sports.
I’m currently fundraising to support the amazing work that Voluntary Service Overseas do. I have made a pledge to raise £800 so that they can continue to fight poverty around the world, through developmental projects created to empower youth, horticultural farmers and young entrepreneurs. Providing them with both the mentors and the skills that will enable them to drastically improve their lives and their communities, for generations to come. I have been given the opportunity to travel to Tanzania, so I too will have the chance to make a difference, the project I will be engaging is is titled " Making Education More Relevant " I hope to gain life skills that I can bring back to UK and make a impact in my community.
