I am about to take part in a 10K race in Newham on 19th April 2009 & raise money for charity at the same time! So if you want to see a fat boy make a fool of himself & raise money for charity....then please read on!

I will be raising money for the charity "Muslim Aid". Most of you will be aware of the works of the charity. During the latest conflict in Gaza, Muslim Aid worked tirelessely to assist those less fortunate than us in Gaza. Their work doesn't stop there.....they currently operate in over 50 countries helping those in need. So go on, do your bit for charity! You can give your lillah, sadaqah or even zakaat.

I know what you're thinking....am I really going to run? Well I can tell you that I will run (ha ha ha  -  no laughing!). OK I might not run ALL THE WAY!, but I will definitely try to finish the race ( & no not on a stretcher or the back of an ambulance van!) & raise as much as I can for a very worthy charity! Surely, that's a good enough reason to sponsor me!!
