Peace be upon you all,

On the 4th of May I will be taking part in a medical aid convoy for Syria along with a number of other like-minded brothers and sisters also making this journey. We will travel to the Turkish border that meets with the blessed land of Shaam (Syria) to deliver medical aid, food supplies, clothing and a fleet of 30 ambulance vehicles.

The 8 day journey will begin in the UK, making its way through several parts of Europe including France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, an 18 hour ferry journey to Greece until reaching it's final destination at the Turkish border. We will then handover responsibilities to SKT representatives in Turkey who will transport the vehicles into Syria whilst we make our own way back to the UK.

This convoy of compassion represents a ray of hope for the people of Syria who are currently in desperate need of humanitarian aid, not to forget the ever growing demand for ambulance vehicles.

Please help me on this journey by first and foremost praying for its success, and secondly but most importantly donating generously to support me in supporting the innocent victims in the tragedy in Syria by helping me raise the funds to deliver the ambulances.

UPDATE 29/03/2014: The fundraising target to cover the costs of the convoy has now been met. All remaining funds above the cost of the convoy will go towards SKT Welfare's other ongoing projects.
