We are taking part in the Great North Run 2023 to raise money for the wonderful St Benedict’s Hospice. Last year we received the devastating news that Dave, my father in-law was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and it was terminal. We got 7 short weeks with Dave before he passed last October, he spent his final days being cared for by the outstanding St Benedict’s hospice team. In the darkest times, they offered the kindest words, support and guidance to Dave’s loved ones, and for that reason we would like to raise funds to show our gratitude for the amazing work that they do.
