We are currently raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of our father, Ajit Hemchand Dhanani.  This is a charity which was very close to our father and was one that he wanted us to champion to increase awareness to raise money to help others.

Our father was an inspiration to the whole family and to everyone that knew him . His battle with heart disease started back in 1997 when he had a major cardiac arrest at home and against all odds he recovered to live a relatively normal life for the next 25 years.

Unfortunately last year his condition took a turn for the worst. He was cared for at Barts Hospital where they used advanced technology to insert a Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI)
through key hole surgery which helped him breath normally regulating his heart. 

Even with his deteriorating health over the last year he always remained positive and grateful for the life he was able to lead as a result from the care he was given. 

His final wish was to ensure that others would benefit from similar medical  advancements.  His charity of choice was the British heart foundation who fund research into heart conditions, ranging from heart failure to irregular heart rhythm to congenital heart defects.
