Ashley's Walk · 11 June 2016

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a UK-wide, church-based movement offering whole-person support to people in their toughest financial storms, such as unmanageable debt, unemployment and chronic low income. Every day, local churches are reigniting hope and sharing the love of Jesus in action.

Story

Ashley was homeless during the cold winter of 2014, and was sleeping rough. He was approached by a CAP client who invited him for a coffee and chat, and since this meeting he has become a regular attendee. The help from CAP provided him with stability and support at a time of crisis. This together with the support of the local food banks has transformed his life, and he is now making steady progress to regain a place is society. The support from CAP inspired him to fund raise to generate awareness of their cause in the hope of helping others.

Please can you support Ashley in his 240 mile walk from Clitheroe to Westminster Abbey. All money raised will go to allowing CAP to continue their work and help people in crisis.
