Story
I am taking part in the “Gone Running” event, in aid of St Barnabas Hospice. If anyone could spare a little bit of money, no matter how big or small, to sponsor me to complete 100km (about 62 miles) throughout Autumn, it would be hugely appreciated not only by myself, but by the Hospice who rely on fundraising and donations to keep up the fantastic job they do that I’ve witnessed first hand.
As a bonus, the challenge to myself is to complete the 100km in 1 month, which I started on 18th September. Now I appreciate for some people that’s probably nothing but for me it’s a huge ask. So if by some miracle I complete it in a month, it’d be appreciated if you could dig that little deeper at the end!
A little bit about the charity....
St Barnabas Hospice is a local independent charity and every year they support more than 10,500 people across Lincolnshire affected by a life-limiting or terminal condition. They deliver free, high quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. They aim to enable people to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks, or months they have left. St Barnabas Hospice need your help now more than ever. Unfortunately in this day and age, there is a very high chance that someone we love will get cancer, or already has/had, so the chances of a loved one being in the care of St Barnabas Hospice staff is high, so with this in mind, even the smallest of donations could potentially go towards someone you love getting the care they need.
Thankyou for your support x
PS..ignore the event date on the page, I’ve already started the runs!
