I know what you are thinking, "he must be mad" and you are probably right but I am running the London Marathon again this year in support of Climb Children Living with Inherited Metabolic Diseases (CLIMB).

There are over 16,000 families nationally with a family member who is affected by a metabolic disease and we are one of them.

Our Son Oliver has a metabolic condition which, through the help and support of CLIMB is now under control - You never expect to be affected by these things, you always think they will happen to someone else!

CLIMB was set up to offer support to families in such a situation.  Their aim is to ensure the best possible quality of life for Children, Young People and Families affected by metabolic diseases and conditions, and to alleviate their suffering with the ultimate aim of prevention and cure.

I am hoping to raise funds for CLIMB to offer something in return in some way.  It would be fantastic if the money I raised could help families in a similar situation to ours.  I would be extremely grateful for any sponsorship however small to help me to achieve this.
