The McKinstry Company have been Whiteleys Retreat supporters from the very start and we have participated in many fundraising events raising over £10,000. For this years Kiltwalk we have assembled a fantastic team of 17 from across our 3 offices. We cannot wait for another fun filled day out making our way from Clydebank to Balloch in aid of this charity very close to our hearts.

This amazing charity provide therapeutic short breaks for young people and their families with cancer and other life altering illness. They are able to host 3 families per week and provide respite breaks to families. 2 families are hosted at Whiteleys retreat and another at Crofthead Holiday park who have very generously donated the exclusive use of a mobile home to Whiteleys.

To host a family for 1 week cost £1,500 and as there is not government funding for this they solely rely on fundraising and donations and the Kiltwalk is the key event in their fundraising calendar.
