Our very own David Scarsbrook and Ashley Jones have been in regular training and are now ready to take up the challenge of a Coast to Coast cycle ride from St Justinians on the west coast of Wales to Lowestoft in Suffolk which is a total distance of just under 450 miles.  

Starting on Friday 20th May they plan to have it all done and dusted by the end of the following Friday.  Yes - that's right, 450 miles on pushbikes in just 7 days!! 

You can support David and Ashley in this endeavour in two ways......  First of all please pray for them often and to help with this I will post up a list of specific prayer items in the updates below as and when I can. I think we are all agreed that prayer will be as essential as inflated tyres and well fed stomachs. Secondly, please donate to this amazing effort as not only will it encourage them along the way, but it will also bring massive benefit to Caring for Life in Leeds - a charity many you  already know and love, but if not please click on the CFL icon above for more details.  

The cycle schedule currently looks like this:

Fri 20th May—St Justinians to Llanelli
Sat 21st May—Llanelli to Newport
Sun 22nd May—Newport to Pershore
Mon 23rd May—Pershore to Rugby
Tue 24th —Day of Rest!
Weds 25th May—Rugby to Godmanchester
Thur 26th May—Godmanchester to Honningham
Fri 27th May—Honningham to Lowestoft 

That's 449 miles overall.
