I'm walking the Kiltwalk in memory of Chloe

Fundraising for The Canmore Trust
I will be walking the Kiltwalk on Sunday 27th April in memory of my sister, Chloe, and all the lives lost to suicide.
With team A Place Called Here by my side, I will walk 23 miles - a mile for every year Chloe spent with us - from Glasgow to Loch Lomond. We will walk in memory of our loved ones whilst supporting a wonderful local charity, The Canmore Trust.
The Canmore Trust are a suicide prevention charity who work with people to find a safe space – a space that allows and encourages them to stay in the world, despite all the struggles and difficulties they may be facing. They work to prevent suicide by influencing Government policies and lobbying for change in all sectors of society.
A proportion of monies raised will be donated to a fantastic organisation, A Place Called Here - a face to face support group supporting families bereaved by suicide. A Place Called Here is not only very close to my heart, it's a lifeline to many, with people travelling across central Scotland to attend. By sharing our lived experience we are breaking down barriers and stigma surrounding suicide whilst supporting each other through this lifelong grief.
Chloe ended her life in 2016 at 23 years of age. She was a daughter, sister, auntie, friend and so much more with the biggest heart and smile.
Suicide can affect anyone.
Thank You!
