Story
I sadly lost my mum 4 days before Christmas 2022. She was only 55. Mum had a love for rugby and I am so grateful for the memories I have with her going to Murrayfield to watch Scotland.
When I told her I would be signing up for Doddie Aid she asked me how many miles I was going to run, as she knows how much it means to me. It makes this fundraising so much more important to me. A lot has changed since this conversation however this is for you mum!
Despite everything Doddie always had a smile on his face and made the most with the time he had, and I know Doddies outlook on life will help me through.

Doddie's story has transcended the rugby world. To fearlessly face down his diagnosis and improve the research landscape for people living with MND is mind-blowing. And to have done it with a smile never far from his lips, and humour punctuating every call to action, Doddie is an inspiration. Doddie Aid is a way for us all to do our little bit to help him and the Foundation in the quest to find better treatments for MND.
