Story
The Head for Change Honour our Heroes (HoH) campaign is to honour the 1966 England football team on the 55th anniversary of them winning the FIFA World Cup for the only time in history. We appreciate them for being the group that has raised awareness of the incidence of neurodegenerative disease in ex players from a personal story level. Due to the high proportion of players from the 1966 team who are living with neurodegenerative disease or who have sadly died of these causes, they are helping bring about change to help present and future players.
