My grandmothers both died with dementia, and my mum also has it. It's sad to see the toll that this disease takes on people, and those closest to them.

I desperately wish I could do more, and this is my small way of trying to help....unashamedly combining something I enjoy (running), with a new challenge (first marathon), and an effort to make a small difference.
