Ash-Shifa Trust was founded in 2002. A circle of concerned individuals came together with the aim of disseminating traditional Islamic knowledge, to lift us out of the darkness that is prevalent in our communities. With the intention of bringing about real change, the Ash-Shifa Trust was born. By the grace of Allah, since 2002 Ash-Shifa has established a full-time girl’s secondary school, local and national courses, conferences, regular study classes and consultancy work.

To continue our extensive work scheme we have purchased a modular building. The building will allow us to house the following:

Ash-Shifa Girls Secondary School
Ash-Shifa Evening School
Ash-Shifa Nursery
Ash-Shifa Madrasa
Adult Educational Classes

OUR APPEAL FOR £25,000

Ash-Shifa is a registered charity and is run on contributions made by individuals and businesses. We urgently need your help to meet the cost of the project. The total cost of the project is estimated at £25,000 and the approximate breakdown is as follows:

Phase 1 Purchase of Building £11,000
Phase 2 Renovation, Equipment, Services, Fixtures & Fittings £14,000

Total Cost £25,000
We are now in Phase 2 of the project.

The Prophet (Sallallahhualihiwasalam) said “When the son of Adam dies his actions come to an end except three things, a continuing charity or knowledge which gives benefit or a pious child who prays for him”
(Sahih Muslim)

When you make a donation to the school this will Insha’Allah be a Sadaqa Jariya, which brings you continuous reward until the day of Qiyama. You can also donate in the name of a deceased relative or friend, by doing this they will get the reward of the Sadaqa Jariya.

The students will be learning the Qur’an & other Islamic sciences, if you make a donation you or your deceased relative will also be rewarded for each time they recite the Qur’an or practice something that they learned in the school.

We have divided the building into 165 equal sections, each section valued at £150. We are hoping that you may sponsor the expense of one or more of these sections.

Please help Ash-Shifa Trust in purchasing and developing a model, multi-purpose educational centre for the use of the community. We ask for your help to continue to this vital task of educating and safeguarding the future generations.
