Here at Francis House we care for children and young adults with life shortening illnesses from across the Greater Manchester region. We provide specialist care in a homely, happy and secure place, helping the children to live life to the full and offering much needed support, friendship and an essential break to their families. We are currently supporting over 370 families.
The services at Francis House, from our respite care to home care, end of life and bereavement care, are all given completely free of charge. To continue to provide these services we need to raise over £3.6 million each year, the majority of which comes from voluntary donations. That the hospice exists at all is due to the generosity of many thousands of people from across the North West and beyond, who have taken these children and families to their heart.
