Story
Help us support Diabetes Tasmania through our participation in PolliePedal Shifting Gears!
In Tasmania there are approximately 85,000 people who are either living with diabetes, living with silent, undiagnosed diabetes or are at high risk of developing diabetes, and with a population of just on 520,000 that could be as high as 1 in 6 affected by diabetes and then there is the flow on to family, friends, carers, and colleagues. Your support is needed now more than ever. Your support assists Diabetes Tasmania to continue education programs, run type one kids camps, advocate for all Tasmanians living with diabetes, promote a healthy and active lifestyle for all Tasmanians, run education sessions for a range of health care professionals so they can improve the care of their patients living with diabetes, run community awareness programs, donate to the national Diabetes Australia Research Program and more.
At Ascensia Diabetes Care, our goal is to provide products and solutions that make a positive, daily difference for people with diabetes. We want to serve the needs of PWDs through our innovation and specialist expertise in diabetes. We create high quality solutions and precision tools that help people with their diabetes blood glucose management.
Our team in Australia is committed to this fundraising and challenging ourselves to complete the full 302.3km through various activities.
A special shout to the whole Australia team for getting out there and supporting this cause!
