Story

The COVID-10 health crisis is adding additional hardships on Frederick County's homeless population. The Religious Coaltion has temporarily relocated the emergency shelter family program and is seeking heathly meals for both children and adults until the state of emergency in Maryland has been lifted. The Religious Coalition's mission is preventing and alleviating the effects of poverty by responding to the emergency needs of the residents of Frederick County.

The Religious Coalition works to move our neighbors from crisis and despair to hope. We offer the County’s two largest emergency shelter programs, provide healthcare, dental, rental, and energy assistance to people and families in need, and work to prevent homelessness from becoming a reality.
