I am participating in Richmond Marathon on 12th September. I have been training hard and have had some challenging moments but these pale into insignificance when you see someone struggling to function independently with Alzheimer’s.
There is no cure and every 3 minutes somebody in the UK is told they have dementia.
A close friend in her 60's has recently been diagnosed with a rare form that affects vision, imagine the fear of what her future holds.

Another person who I have known for over a few years is struggling and she went into a dementia nursing home recently.

I would be incredibly grateful if you would sponsor me, any donations no matter how small will help fund research and support those affected .
I am running with hope that one day we will have a world without dementia.
