I am 'virtually' running the equivalent of the distance between Cardiff Castle and Buckingham Palace over the next 3 months to raise funds for BHF, a total distance of 242km.  I will be posting regular progress updates on my Just Giving page so my sponsors can map my progress.

I am doing the run for my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award and to raise funds for this very worthwhile charity.  Here are some details of what the funds I raise might go towards.

We are all touched by the heartbreak of heart and circulatory diseases. By raising money for us, you're funding research that gets us closer to cures and treatments.£2 can help researchers we fund to isolate the DNA from a patients blood sample, in the hope of finding faulty genes causing heart and circulatory diseases.£6 can help to buy test tubes that researchers we fund use to aid their research into inherited heart conditions.£16 could support one of our early career scientists to conduct one hour of research.£22 provides an hour of vital support from a Cardiac Nurse to answer patients questions£25 could help to give a researcher an hour of access to a powerful microscope helping them to see whats going on inside heart and blood vessel cells.
