ART FOR A LITTLE BRAVE HEART

https://www.facebook.com/artforalittlebraveheart/

First time in London an active group of internationally acclaimed artists participate in a special exhibition, ‘Art For A Little Brave Heart’, which is fundraising money for children with life-threatening illnesses in support of the UK-based Charity ‘Gift of Life’ in collaboration with its co-founder, a famous Russian actress Dina Korzun.

An International group of volunteering artists, curated by an award-winning London-based artist Arina Gordienko, proposes a special exhibition, where 100% of the proceeds from the art sales will go towards medical expenses for children suffering from cancer and other life threatening conditions and will benefit children with cancer in Russian hospitals.

The UK-based charity ‘Gift of Life’ www.giftoflife.eu (registered charity number 1140638, 2 Putney Hill, London, SW15 6AB), founded by a well-known Russian actress, Dina Korzun, has literally given hope to sick children and their parents who cannot afford lifesaving treatments. Thanks to the continuous support from the charity’s friends, people from different works of life and professions, for whom words like ‘kindness’ and ‘compassion’ are not an empty slogan, the charity constantly saves children’s lives by footing the bill for medical expenses at the world’s most renown clinics.

The charity aims to help children and young adults up to the age of 25 from Russia and CIS countries suffering from cancer. Currently in many countries only a small part of medical expenses for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses are covered by the state. As a result, approximately two thirds of costs associated with treatments lie with patients and their families. This quite often means that families are struggling financially, and even slipping into poverty, as they simply cannot cover the enormous sums of money needed to treat their children.

This project is a result of initiative actions of an internationally acclaimed artist awarded with an ‘Associate Living Master’ status by prestigious Art Renewal Centre (ARC) Arina Gordienko, who started this project and invited to participate in the charity event well-known artists from around the world, whose works are in private art collections all over the globe and also at established galleries and museums in many countries.

With support of the project by the founder of the ‘Gift of Life’ Charity in the UK a famous actress Dina Korzun, the artists participate in this special event with hope to raise much needed funds for children with life-threatening illnesses. This is truly an international project with participants who live and work in different parts of the world, such as Great Britain, Russia, Canada, USA, Germany, France, Belarus, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Estonia, Armenia, Ireland, Spain, Hungary and Peru.

Selection of works for the exhibition was very specific about the calibre of the artists; and only the well-known and established artists, who have proven themselves on the international stage, were invited to participate in the exhibition with their finest art works. Many of the participants have volunteered to create new pieces specifically for this event. Some of them have donated to this charity event several artworks.

The artists in the order of joining the project – Arina Gordienko, Galya Popova, Aleksandra Kabakova, Victor Panchenko, Natalia Ivanova, Grigoriy Ivanov, Helen Shulkin, Sheludyakov Oleg, Svetlana Rumak, Sergey Logachev, Irina Lesik, Petra Moll, Iryna Yermolova, Galia Ivanova, Azat Galimov, Tanja Miller, Anna Zavileiskaya, Reinhard Schmid, Steven DaLuz, Fabio Hurtado, Jude Harzer, Aleck Chekini, Elvira Pyrkova, Raushanija Badretdinova, Julio Garay Terrazas, Svetlana Kornilova, Natalia Arendt, Laima Goda.

All of the artists have their unique style and vision, and are easily recognisable amongst others. Inspired by the common theme all of the artists hope that the exhibition will result in sufficient fundraising for the ‘Gift of Life’ Charity. Based on mutual agreement, the artworks will be listed at charitable prices. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity to acquire collectable art at attractive prices.

The upcoming charity exhibition ‘Art For A Little Brave Heart’ will be held in the very heart of London at the well-known venue ‘Rossotrudnichestvo’ (37 Kensington High St, London W8 5ED; Phone: 020 7937 3355 ) from 28th of November until 3d of December 2017, just ahead of Christmas which is one of the best times for buying some amazing art works from our exhibition as gifts.

The Opening Night of the Exhibition and the Main Charity Event with an actress Dina Korzun will be held on 1st of December at 7 pm at the ‘Rossotrudnichestvo’ in London. All the artists’ works can be seen and purchased at this event.

Also all the artworks can be seen in advance on our website and purchased via justgiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/artforalittlebraveheart, you just need to mention number of the artwork in your donation, it would mean that the artwork is SOLD and it is yours!
