Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Arlene and Darren feel compelled to raise funds and awareness for bowel cancer UK, after Arlene's husband, Andrew was diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel cancer in August 2017 at the young age of 44.

Andrew has had radiotherapy and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment before surgery and more chemotherapy on a curative plan.

Andrew first visited the Doctors 2 years ago, to be advised he had a virus. So Arlene's brother Darren Selby and Arlene are keen to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK, to help increase awareness, research and of course a cure for this terrible disease.  To do this, Darren and Arlene have decided to run the Stafford half marathon on Sunday 15th April.

If you can, please help this great cause, every little helps.

Andrew, we're doing this for you!! xx
