Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

On the 6th June 2014, I’ll be reaching new heights in my continued quest to raise funds for St Andrew's Hospice in Lanarkshire. I'll be one of 40 fellow trekkers who'll be heading to Africa to take on Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s tallest freestanding mountain (I'm feeling privileged, but more than a little nervous!!!!)

It is a challenge, no doubt, but not as challenging as it is for the Hospice Fundraising team who have to raise over £65,000 each week to maintain vital, specialist care services to patients suffering from cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. It is a very special place; the Hospice Team work tirelessly to care and support patients, their families and carers within the hospice and through outreach in the community.

Unfortunately we need our hospice to flourish, so please dig deep and show your support for the amazing work done by everyone at St Andrew's.  I really appreciate your support it means so much to me, my family and St Andrews Hospice.
