Story
On Wednesday 25th May 2022, Ark Pioneer were very saddened with the news that one of our year 8 pupils, Arman Zia had passed away. Arman was a charming, lovely and kind young boy and will be missed dearly by friends, teachers and of course his family. In our Summer Fayre, on Wednesday 20th July 2022, we will be fundraising to support those who looked after him during this emergency.
Arman was in the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital following a medical emergency and for this reason every penny raised at the Summer Fayre will go to the Zia family's choice of charity - Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. They are also in the process of setting up their own foundation, so this may also be a beneficiary, if ready in time.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children by providing support networks for both families and children, researching children illnesses and purchasing life-changing medical equipment.
We have created this JustGiving page for anyone who would like to donate further or who are unable to make the Summer Fayre event.
Further to this, Miss Sweetman will be cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats (1000miles) this summer in memory of Arman.
Thanks for taking the time to visit Ark Pioneer's JustGiving page.
