My name is Ariane. I am 13 years old. I have very long hair...but not for long! I am having it all chopped off to raise money for JDRF, a charity that supports young people battling Type 1 diabetes, like my little sister Carys.

My hair will not be wasted however, because I am also donating it to The Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer.
