My dear friend Kamal Aftab was an optometrist by profession but his passion was to serve humanity, he was a true charity champion, he climbed mountains ran many marathons raised thousands of pounds for many charities, he overcame every challenge thrown at him but sadly he past away fighting the biggest challenge in his life acute myeloid leukaemia. 

Upto his last days in hospital he was running a marathon in the confined space of this hospital room sadly he could not complete his treatment or the biggest challenge in his life but through his ambition and love for mankind he managed to raise over £50,000 for Bloodwise.

His legacy lives on as Humanity First have taken the responsibility to build eye clinics in memory of Kamal Aftab for this £50,000 is needed to grant the unfortunate gift of sight.
