Madison is 12 years old and plays football for Nuneaton Borough Under 13 Girls and a couple of weeks ago after falling ill over the weekend and being rushed into Birmingham Children's Hospital she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

Maddie is in great spirits and is ready to fight this all the way especially after she received a supportive message from her favourite player Jude Bellingham. While also receiving messages from Alex Greenwood of Manchester City and England and Patson Daka of Leicester City and Zambia.

On behalf of Maddie, a team from Arden University Student Association and Arden University colleagues will be running the Battersea Half Marathon on Saturday 11th March 2023 on behalf of her and raising funds for the Young Lives vs Cancer.
