As a Trustee of the Beds. & Herts. Historic Churches Trust, it means a lot to me to keep our churches and chapels in good order, so I have taken part in the Bike 'n Hike for over 20 years.

This year, I have decided on a completely different approach to the day.  Together with a friend, I intend to visit churches in the City of London.  Julian has worked in the City and I have been a frequent visitor on business.  I've always loved the varied architecture.

Our walk around the 'Square Mile' will cover all of Wren's churches, together with many more.  The aim will be to visit at least 20 churches.

I hope you can support me - as ever, the funds will be split between the Trust and the church where I worship, St. Leonard Old Warden, which is about to embark on a £200,000 project to repair the tower and the south aisle roof.  Every penny needed!
