Our new Cancer Support Centre will offer a home from home space for people across the region, offering a selection of holistic services in a non-clinical, comfortable and relaxing space. Located at Vangarde York, the Centre is due to open in Autumn 2022. Being away from the hospital will provide a refreshing change for anyone who has had bad news or treatment at the hospital and offers a second place for people to visit whilst navigating their way through cancer services. The centre will be completely non-clinical and provide services that support people across many areas of their lives that may be affected by cancer. This support will not only be available for people currently going through cancer treatment, but for anyone whos lives have been touched by cancer, whether that be present day or previously. In the lead up to the launch of the Centre we are running a fundraising initiative to help bring in additional funds to help the Centre provide support for years to come.
