Nivan Quader is my love, my blood, my warrior. My sister gave birth to Nivan just 25 weeks into her pregnancy. Weighing only 795g when he was born, he brought the most sensational joy to me and my family. Along with the joy was the constant battle of doing everything we could to get him home. There were countless times where we thought we were about to lose him. After five and half months of being in the hospital my warrior made it home for three precious days, away from the chaos, away from the machines, just quality time alone with mummy,daddy and Mushu the cat. All that little boy wanted was to spend his last moments  at home as a way of thanking his parents for all the love and support and making him truly embrace his name "Nivan....the warrior".

In memory of Nivan and as a way of thanking the nurses, doctors and ward sisters at St George's Hospital efforts, I have decided to take part in the BUPA London 10k run. The event is taking place on 30 May 2016, so there is plenty of time to raise as much money as possible before then! I would therefore be so grateful for any contribution towards First Touch as they were incredible in helping and supporting Nivan and my family throughout his journey.
