Story

Alzheimer’s is a disease that has likely impacted most people in some way; whether that’s seeing a loved one battle with it, a friend telling you about how they’ve coped with it within their family or seen it discussed on the news.

It can be incredibly heartbreaking to witness someone you care about deteriorate before your eyes, which is something that April is currently personally dealing with, as well as something that Kerri and her family have been directly impacted by too.

However, the Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Please support us raise funds for this wonderful society by donating as we walk 26 miles of the Devon Coast.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
