Story
The Miscarriage Association are challenging their supporters to complete 250,000 steps throughout January - the same number of steps as the number of pregnancies that are estimated to end in miscarriage in the UK each year. Throughout the pandemic the M.A has supported thousands of people through their helpline, live chat, and online support services. The majority of their income comes from public donations and fundraising activities, and they receive no statutory funding. Can you help to raise funds to help support the M.A by sponsoring me as I complete this 250,000 step challenge this January? Thank you for your support!
Hello out there,
Simply put, since my most recent miscarriage in October, I've felt tired. My energy has been on the floor some days. I know going outside, being in nature and exercising does me good ... but it's been so hard to motivate myself with the winter darkness and soggy weather!
I have recently started doing high intensity workouts at home, but I know these won't be able to continue in January, when I (hopefully!) start IVF. The intensity will need to simmer down, but I'll still need to keep active ...
Then I saw this challenge from the Miscarriage Association and thought, this will be my motivation. I need to get outside and get my step count up, the Miscarriage Association need funding to continue their work, and you the people need a good cause to donate to for that warm fuzzy feeling inside ... Everyone's a winner! :)
Any contribution you can make will give me a real boost and encouragement, but more importantly, it will help the Miscarriage Association continue to support people through the awful experience of baby loss.
Thank you so much,
April xxx
