James Neal is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

Team: Apocalypse30

Apocalypse30 · 12 August 2021

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

To mark their 30th year on this chaotic planet, lifelong friends James and Josh are going to embark on daring trip the length and breadth of Great Britain!

The team will be dragging a barely legal, hardly functioning, POST APOCALYPTIC themed 1997 BMW 3 Series thousands of miles around the UK . We will start at Lands End and follow an ambitious route via many points of interest including Britain’s most haunted house, ending our journey in John o’ Groats. We shall also spend two days with the famous TwoBallRally in the Lake District en route. What could possibly go wrong?

After the TwoBallRally was ironically postponed in 2020 due to an actual global pandemic, we are faced with another postponement of the European rally in 2021, and that is why we shall be joining the UK event instead.

We are raising money for a charity very close to out hearts, the Alzheimer’s Society - the UK’s leading dementia charity providing information, support, improved care, funding for research, and lasting change for people affected by dementia. Let’s not take our foot off the gas! https://www.alzheimers.org.uk

It’s sure to be moderately interesting, slightly entertaining, and probably a total disaster!

We hope you can follow us all the way...
