In low- and middle-income countries fewer than 1 in 10 children with cancer are diagnosed, treated or given pain relief. World Child Cancer improves cancer care for some of the world’s poorest children by creating international twinning partnerships between medics hospitals and parent support groups

Story

Hello everyone!

I've decided to step out of the gym and onto the steep streets of Sheffield. All for a good cause of course!

By that I don't mean my slender (starved) calves, which are in serious need of intense cardio. Thought I would try and do something for humanity rather than vanity.

The charity I am raising money for is 'World Child Cancer'.

It aims to improve cancer treatment by twinning partenerships between developed and developing countries. From the first stages of diagnosis to palliative care for children in the developing world.

A great cause that requires global exposure. And lives by the ethos 'no child should suffer'.

I will be grateful for any donations and watch this space for my running blog on how my "training" is going.
