London to Brighton Cycle Ride · 1 October 2021

We are the UK's leading digital mental health charity for children and young people. Our free clinically-validated tools help thousands of young people manage anxiety, self-harm, depression and eating disorders across the UK every single day, whilst building resilience and becoming safe online.

Story

I am cycling from Wimbledon to Brighton on the 1st of October, in support of Stem4.

Like many people, I acquired a bike during lockdown. For me it was mainly to teach my 9 year old daughter to cycle confidently on London roads. I am not much of a cyclist, as you can tell from the picture above... So the ~90km ride will be rather challenging, especially the 16% (!) climb at Ditchling Beacon. It is all for a noble cause, and I hope it goes well.

Stem4 is a charity that supports mental health in teenagers and those who support them. They have been doing excellent work over the pandemic, and their support has never been more needed.

I will be cycling with colleagues from Close Brothers, and all donations will receive a 50% boost from the firm (max £250)

Donations of all sizes and currencies are welcome. Every penny, paisa or cent helps!

Thank you for your support!
