Story

In memory of my mother, who died 18 months ago from motor neurone disease, I'm walking 25km across the Cotswold Way on June 24th with one of my closest friends.

Together we hope to raise significant funds for the MND Association that will help advance important research and further our understanding of how best to treat MND.

MND affects the nerves or motor neurones, found in the brain and spinal cord, which can lead to rapid deterioration in speech and mobility. We have to hope that one day there will be a way to treat this disease effectively.

Rain or shine my 25km Cotswold Way walk will begin in Cirencester base camp and finish in Painswick near the Painswick rococo gardens- this is the perfect destination to celebrate my mother's passion for historic houses, gardens and nature.

Join me in raising funds for this important cause.
