Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
I'm raising money for ABF The Soldiers' Charity who provide vital support to soldiers, veterans and their families in times of need.
UPDATE: My dad has challenged me to raise £700. If I hit this target he has agreed to come out of retirement and jump with me!
I've decided that on 10th September I will do a tandem skydive. The thought terrifies me but it is in aid of charity so I know it is worthwhile. On the day, I will be jumping out of a plane and falling 13,000 feet reaching free fall speeds of up to 120 mph. This is then followed by a parachute descent - as long as it opens!
So why am I doing it all? My boyfriend has done many solo jumps, and my older brother is an accomplished skydiver. I have always wanted to try doing this phenomenal experience and overcome my fear of doing something that at the moment seems so unnatural ...for myself. This is an amazing opportunity and I can't wait!
I will be raising funds for ABF The Soldiers' Charity for a number of reasons. This is the Army's National Charity and the oldest Army charity we have. The charity has been helping servicemen, women and their families throughout their service and their retirement.
As a daughter of an army family, and with many army family connections, I have seen first hand the help and support that serving soldiers have had and that veterans have relied upon. I would be so grateful if you could dig as deep as you can to support me and most importantly those that need this help.
Once you donate on this page the money is sent directly to the charity, so please also consider allowing Gift Aid to be added on.
