Story
In August last year I lost my father in the space of a month to a very aggressive type of lymphoma cancer. My dad, my hero, my biggest supporter. He was an emergency doctor and helped thousands of people for over 30 years every single day.
Exercise has been my saviour during this time. I would not be in the mental state I am now without exercise and my gym community.
I am taking part in the 10K Edinburgh Running Festival on 27th May and I am also taking part in Hyrox (fitness racing) Birmingham and Dublin in October.
I want to raise money for Lymphoma Action UK, to help the large amount of people affected by lymphoma every single day, just like my father was. It's the least I can do to try and help people, just like he did. Anything you could donate no matter how little, will go a long way.
Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer. We’ve been providing in-depth, expert information and wide-ranging support for over 30 years, helping thousands of people affected by lymphoma. Our work drives improvements in the diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare of lymphoma. We’re here for everyone affected by lymphoma. https://lymphoma-action.org.uk/
