Story
On Sunday 18 September I'll participate in a fundraising ride for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. They respond to situations where without them it would be almost certain that a life would be lost: road traffic collisions, violent attacks and other urgent and hard to access situations. Each callout costs £2500: a small price to pay for saving someone's life but a significant cost to a donation funded charity. The next time they are called out, it may be for someone you know, one of us.
I hope that our contribution will help to save a life.
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance are truly are a life-saving Charity kept airborne thanks to everyone who makes a donation in aid of EHAAT. Their aim is to save lives, reduce or prevent disability, or suffering from critical illness and injury, by delivering a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people who need it. Without access to National Lottery funding and with limited support from Government, they continue to rely upon the generosity and goodwill of those who donate to them to remain operational and keep saving lives!
