Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Here is my story.
Why Cancer Research?
Cancer is a wide-spread disease and nearly all of my friends' families faced it. I am not a scientist myself, but I wish I can do something to influence what is happening. The only way I am able to support those who are actively fighting this phenomenon is to support those organisations who focus on curing the disease.
My wife had a nanny and she was an exceptionally kind and bright character who inspired many people who now giving TED Talks and doing something that matters for others in the world. Liliya died from Cancer in 2017. I wish she would live longer. My friends in Oxford have their relatives who are now trapped having cancer and they wish the doctors have a cure now to save their lives, as they want to live longer and they have stamina and wish to be active intellectually and physically. My very close friend in Russia, Olga Romanova, has cancer now. And she is an absolute diamond and I wish she would never die. So here we go..
It is the first time I am doing something for charity purposes not only financially, but actually physically. I believe that this pioneer research organisation has to be supported by us so they can find the cure from such a wide-spread disease and help each one of us who might come across this. I am thankful there are so many opportunities to support such establishments.
I would be genuinely grateful from the bottom of my heart if you support my participation by donating through this page or by posting some kind words. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. It's the most efficient way to donate and support what they do and if we collect £50 that will allow me to participate in the competition.
Please wish me luck as I train twice weekly and vigorously to be able to participate on the 4th of April 2020.
