Event: Bristol's Big Drop, from 2 July 2022 to 3 July 2022
In memory of Laura Norfolk
Face your fears this Summer and step over the edge of one of Bristol's tallest buildings in the centre of the city and lower yourself to the ground in order to raise vital funds for St Peter's Hospice patient care.

Story

Anthony is totally blind, and will be taking on the challenge of abseiling the Castlemead building in Bristol city centre, which is 260 feet tall! I will be doing the abseil around midday on Saturday 2nd July.

Anthony is fundraising for St Peter's Hospice in memory of his girlfriend Laura, who sadly passed away on the 21 March 2021.

Laura was in the Hospice for 9 weeks, and the staff there kindly let Anthony stay overnight with her, on a pull out sofabed in her room. He was able to stay with her until the end.

Any donations you can spare will be really appreciated.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
