Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Back at the beginning of December 2021, my daughter Bethany was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 35. As you can imagine, this turned all of our worlds upside down.

In January 2022, she had a mastectomy, with full node clearance on the right hand side.  After giving her body time to heal, she has then started a course of chemotherapy, which will then have to be followed by radiotherapy. As a result of the type of chemotherapy she is receiving, Beth has started losing her hair. Beth made the decision recently to shave her hair short, to help deal with the upset of it falling out.

To show support for my amazing daughter in her fight, and for all of the other women who unfortunately have to go through this battle, I have decided to shave my own hair short too! In doing so, I am trying to raise money for this great charity, Breast Cancer Now, to help anyone having to go through this battle.

So please, if you can donate towards this cause, then please do! Thank you for reading! Thank you for your support!
