At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

You there!!

On June 18th, I shall attempt to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours to raise money for Alzheimer's Society which is a really good cause if you could give me money then that would be great!

Alzheimer's Society is the leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers.

There are 750,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025.

Alzheimer's Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (although strangely, Scotland isn't mentioned. They're probably fine)

Also, in homage to Radio 1 I've decided that if we raise £2 million I'll do the entire thing in my swimming costume.
