Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Wow, this will be my third London Marathon in a row - some people never learn! Anyway I am really looking forward to running this year - London is a really great event - and boy do I need the training!

Helen & Douglas House is a very worthly cause and this year especially I am determine to raise as much as possible for them. I am helped greatly in my efforts by all my friends and family - so a big thank you to them from the start.

30/12/09 - Christmas Update. Well the snow and ice put a stop to running for the best part of a week, but I'm glad to say I've put a few good runs in this week. If anything I'm fitter this Christmas than on any of the last two - well maybe?

Thank you to everyone at NDA Harwell for making a great effort for 'Crazy Hair Day' and raising over £95. A special thanks to Jo, Madeline and Steph for making it happen.

Anyway, after the fiasco of my running shoes for Berlin, the first pair I had professionally fitted, and which cut my feet to ribbons, I tried again today. I had my gaite (is that spelt correctly?) assessed and have bought a pair of motion control 'Brooks'. So far they have performed very well around Sainsbury's!

Happy New Year,

Tony
