Mike was a great friend and work colleague of mine at Ormerod Rutter who tragically passed away in June of this year. One of his passions in life was cycling which he finally succeeded in getting me into shortly before his death. 

He would no doubt have been interested in the Velo Birmingham, a 100 mile trip setting off from Birmingham on closed roads on what looks like a demanding route, certainly for a novice! There will be 15,000 cyclists! You can see the route here https://velobirmingham.com/the-route/

So this seemed appropriate, to raise money for a great cause, do something that my mate loved, and get involved in a fantastic event. There are several of us from the company riding for this great cause. They include:-
