In 2018 I suffered a very unexpected heart attack, this was caused by a genetic condition that I didn't know I had nor I'd heard of. The condition, familial hypercholesterolaemia, or FH for short, is an inherited condition which can cause very high levels of cholesterol, even in fit people who live a healthy lifestyle.  Heart UK is the only charity in the UK dedicated to raising awareness about FH and their advice and support was invaluable during my recovery and this is my way of giving something back. Please support me in raising funds for this charity. Just the small matter of running a Marathon now. Eeek
