Shift.ms is the social network for people with multiple sclerosis. Founded by MSers, for MSers, the charity supports many thousands of recently diagnosed people across the world, as they make sense of MS. It’s independent and it’s free.

Story

It's been four years since I first ran the Great North Run for Shift, pressured into by my sister Ally who was then a trustee for the fledgling charity. Since then the charity has got bigger and myself unfitter but despite this I'm back running the half marathon because Shift is a great charity for a cause close to me. If you are able to donate any amount, big or small I greatly appreciate it and will give me the boost I need when puffing and panting my way around the 13 miles.

Thanks for your time.
