This is third marathon I will have done and will probably the last.  I have a place through the ballot so do not actually need to raise any money to run it but it's a chance to do some good etc.

This time round, I really wanted to help out a smaller charity where £1000 will make a huge difference to people's lives.  So this year I am running for Urafiki - a small charity who is support health, education and social projects in Africa.  All the money donated goes to Africa, no admin etc.

If you can spare any cash to sponsor me, you will contributing to educating young kids in Yala in Kenya and helping them stay at school and to the Yala feeding centre, ensuring all in the village can eat - see www.urafiki.org.uk for further details.

I know it's austerity time at the mo and money is tight, but if you could spare a few pounds for some people for whom poverty is too real, you'll be making a real difference to some peoples lives and feel the karma of your goodness.
